I have been graciously informed that this shot qualifies as true macro. I have previously posted this on other forums of UHH so now here we are in Macro.

Two requests:
1.) When posting a detailed macro, please check the box labeled "(store original)", so we may enlarge and appreciate resolution.
2.) In text, please include camera, ISO, lens, illumination source, shutter duration, and aperture. Look at a few posts to see typical format. This saves time answering questions.

In resonse:
2.) Sony DSC HX1, fixed zoom W/screw on close up filter Marumi 58mm macro-330 (+3), Hand held, day light, 1/200 sec, F2.8, ISO125, Crop about 70%.
To late to edit my posting with this info. Will have it next time.
