Question, Are Macro shots ok on this forum?

A few from this morning... This type of stuff I would prefer to post here rather than in the macro forum.... Hoping that's ok, these are shot at 3X magnification... which is why the DOF is so shallow on these shots.

Nice shots Geff. Sure...if its a close up...HDR close up...underwater close up...macro...long exposure close up...we like view'n em all.

Lovely as always, we would be foolish to object to any post of yours, I suppose I am going to go for the obvious here but I love that water droplet..thanks for posting :-)

Thanks Robbie, that water drop is actually a composite of 3 images, refraction shots at high magnification usually require more than one shot as if you focus on the drop itself the refraction will be out of focus and if you focus on the refraction the drop itself will be out of focus....

I would call it a stack, but it is more like bits and pieces in photoshop, not exactly a stack.

Hi Geff :-) Thanks for the info, I have taken a few water droplets which I have been reasonably satisfied with but there was a guy on another site who just seemed to always have the edge on every one else..There is obviously more to the perfection technique than I thought..learning all the time :thumbup:
