Well this was South Carolina the other day. At least I didn't have to shovel any.
When I lived in Michigan I didn't mind the snow so much as I missed the sunshine.

Nice shots even if the subject of them irks you.
Lived in Wyoming for 17 yrs so know what that's like, Now in very rural nothen NM so no sidewalk to shovel and road crews keep the road pretty clear.i just sometimes have to shovel near the gate across my drive so i can open it and use my 4WD to get from house to gate.

i get that, researched carefully to find places where there is rarely more than a day or two cosecutively without sunshine. May get a storm but it blows thru and the sun come out again (tho that can mean night temps will sink to single digits.)i've lived on east coast and gulf coast saw sun less in both places than in Wyoming and here in NM.

Keep looking south about 1500 miles and you should see green grass, sunny skies and 80 degree weather. You are welcome to come visit!

Our first snow fall also looks pretty. But yesterday's storm was a little much for my patience.
