Today is a dark dreary day here, so I dug up some summer color to boost the mood.
I like this close up forum and think it will be well attended.
Thanks for looking.

We have another 60 days or so befor putting out any spring plants due to freezing at night. and spring can be quite wet here in the rain forest, Avg. 150" a year. It beats down the early spring flowers.

Thanks for your reply, I am not talking what we call bedding plant time, were we plant new flowers outside in the borders of the garden. We also have a lot of sub zero over night temperatures; but the natural hardy plants like snow drops, primulas, Hellebore, Daffodils, Camellias etc.
Lovely flowers, its very bright and sunny here today, soon beautiful flowers like these will be back again..thankyou for posting..

North and East of us about 80 miles are large Tulip fields and every April is the area Tulip festival. We go every year rain or shine, and I typically take several hundred pictures. Glad I'm not using film.
