Went to the zoo today and took a whole heap of shots - but two that jumped out from the day for two reasons was these
1) whilst I knew that there was a runway for airbus in flint - iwas always under the implresion that this was an evening flught
2) after such terrible weather for teh past month to have such clear skies was a wonderful sight
I am told this plane is used to move parts for teh airbus sper jumbo (wings mainly) from Wales to Paris for assembly
with exception of slight crop no PP to these
Airbus Guppy
Another Guppy
never seen anything like it. i live a very sheltered life.

Thanks for your comment - yeah it is wierd looking
I suppose it is to create room for the wings of the Jumbo and super Jumbo's to get them to Paris for fitting together

the origional guppies were based on surplus b-29 bombers and were used to transport parts for the space program. Never seen a jet guppy before. Thanks for posting
