Common Male House Finch from today 02/18/13

I got these this afternoon. This guy came in kinda close and stayed for a few minutes. Shots taken with 180mm with a 2X TC at about F6 1/250 at ISO 250.

Nice set Bret. If you get bored, Google the House Finch. Very interesting story behind it. For info, we have had them in Illinois for several years now, and they are working their way back to the West Coast.

Every shot has a different expression and seems to be telling you something. I think it knows you are hiding in your little tent. All are really nice captures.
