Went for a walk with the camera the other morning & found a few close-ups to take....

The little black spider on the leaf (jumping spider?) is so cute!! Love the composition of that one too, with the leaves and angle. The large one in web reminds me the orb weavers from Madagascar we had at the National Zoo in Washington DC. Spiders are just fascinating to me!

Image#4 is a ventral view of a female Golden Silk Orb Weaver spider (Nephila pilipes). Her web is golden in color.

Hi Robbie, Im in Central Bali for 3 months & when-ever I go for a walk its always full of surprises..Kevin

Thanks Linda, I find spiders very fascinating except when I walk thru a web.......
