Considering ongoing events in North Korea and Iran, could there be any justification possible for a nuclear preemptive strike?

no preemptive strikes. But I pray the threat of our nuclear umbrella is enough to keep these nut countries from doing their worst.

There are are a lot better options than going neuclear and a lot less damaging to the civilian population who are the ones who would suffer the most

No, but be assured, once 'they' have the capability that will use it, only then will a strike be justified.
Yes too late, but who will have the balls to prevent it happening? :(

I think Obummer should just issue an executive order banning nuclear weapons from these countries.

No sane person would start a nuclear war. The USA alone has enough warheads to totally obliterate the earth three times.
If North Korea were to launch an attack against one of our allies, it would be a glowing flat parking lot by the next morning.
No, there is no justification for a preemptive strike and I doubt even Israel is that crazy.

it is not Israel or our allies who are crazy in this picture..It is the little twerp in N Korea & the leaders in Iran who are batshit crazy..nothing from those locos would surprise me..But I think the problem could be solved with less than Nuclear strikes..

I seriously doubt that Obama would pull the Nuc trigger unless Conus was hit first. Also consider that South Korea would also be directly by the fallout etc from leveling North Korea.
