WOW!!! That gives me the willies just watching it. But my REAL "admiration" and respect is for the guys and dolls who constructed this "highway" in the first place and who was the FIRST one to piponeer this route even before the walkway ws built!! That must have been some real kook.

That's was what I was thinking. The crumbling structure was probably nice at one time although even in good shape would still have been a little scary. It's obvious it was built in fairly modern times judging by the iron mounts and the way they were anchored to the stone. Some of the stairways leading down to the flowing water look a lot older but hard to tell. It would be a great place to hike if you hate crowds. :roll: :thumbup:
