I am far from a pro but I have found a lot of good tutorials on YouTube. Just search for Paint shop. There are two companies with Paint Shop... Corel and Adobe so type in one of these too. Adobe is also under Elements (10, 11). I use both programs and having learned in Corel I am more familiar with it but Elements seems to run smoother and easier to edit in. Just me opinion, hope this helps.

There is also a Paint Shop Pro from JASC - It doesn't appear to be associated with Corel or Adobe.

PaintShop Pro from JASC is history. JASC was bought out by or merged with Corel several years ago. I have been using PaintShop Pro from version 7 (JASC) to today's version (Ultimate X5 from Corel). I love it and see very little I would need a super expensive Adobe Photo Shop for anything I do. I am not a professional so-to-speak but have done some rather impressive work with PSP's layers. Corel does have a short tutorial on layers at their site. Click on learning and then the layers tutorial (use the link below). It is not much but might help. Layers in PaintShop Pro are great, but a little tricky.
