Hi evenic :-) Lovely set of pictures. Some people think fungi are a plant, but their not..If Im wrong Nikonian72 will put me right..lol thanks for posting nice to hear from our Aussie cousins..:-)

I agree that these are a "lovely set" of pictures. Fungi ARE plant life. I refer you to any college Botany text.

I agree that these are a "lovely set" of pictures. Fungi ARE plant life. I refer you to any college Botany text.

Hi Mooseeyes :-) Not wishing to offend you, but I have just looked it up on internet and found out that although fungi was classified as a plant, modern science had deemed it is a microcosm or something in its own right..therefore not a plant..regards

I can understand where mooseeyes is coming from, the only reason I suspected different was because I seem to remember from a series on fungii on tv, at the time I was very interested in finding fungii to take photos of. The old things we were taught in the past seem to change daily due to modern science. regards
