i, too am on pain meds and have been for many years. for several of those years i had to see my dr once a month. i now see him every three months. really helps someone on disability. my meds cost me $8 per. they were $6 last year, but i had surgeries between $2-300,000. my insurance costs me nothing, after paying $17,000 per month. i'm blessed.

Please remember that if your prescription costs are getting high that many drug manufacturers have patient assist programs as well as there are non-profit organizations that you can apply to for help with costs of prescriptions. 70% of the patients I worked with were on a form of Patient Assist Program (PAP), many had their costs dropped to almost nothing.

Blame the pot heads and unethical drs and pharmacists for abusing these deadly drugs. Trying to control their availability. Pain in but for legitimate user but will not deter the potheads and a users. BTW the kids drug of choice is the ones they find in parents med cabinet
