ciimney rock park is where some of the movie, last of the mohicans was filmed, and it overlooks lake lure where a large part of the movie Dirty Dancing was filmed.great place to visit.
you can see people walking on two levels one in the middle and at the top

I love this park. It wasn't crowded the day I was there so it was really good to enjoy.

It is a great place to visit. Last time I was there, there was a ladder going up through a narrow gap in the rock - really got my claustrophobia going! Beautiful views from all the overlooks though.
