These are a couple from the 55-250 mm lens I bought in the fall, after using just an 18-55 for 4 years! One aspect that delighted me about the new lens was, dare I utter the word, bokeh!

Welcome to the group Linda From Maine very tasteful images you have just posted. It will be nice to archive all this material in one group, and watch it evolve. Hope you are back soon.

WOW that last one is just an amazing shot...outstanding....and the background just adds so nicely.
I like the colors of the second shot, and the hailstorm and cherries is terrific. Very nicely done.
Thank you all. Exciting new section, very happy it came to be!

Very nice Linda, bokeh and all. Was it raining in that last photo, is that what those streaks are? 8-)
Edit: Ha, that's what I get for not reading the title fully, but with so many photos posted one must hurry. Okay, it's hail, and I like very much how it was captured.
Thanks Bmac! The sun was peeking in and out, too, so that helped a lot. Lucky to be in right place, right time! I feel your pain re "so many photos posted, one must hurry." I've become ridiculously addicted to this site.
They are all beautiful Linda, I think my fav is the cherries!
Thanks for viewing, Fotoholic!

250 mm on a 55-250 kit lens with Canon T3i. f13, 1/160 sec. The sun was peeking through at times. The image might be cropped a bit. Thanks for viewing, and your kind remarks!
Thank you Pixelpixie and Janus!
