Some like them cropped and some don't! I'm a don't person! But these two shots are designed to appeal to all who view my shots! I try to take a shot near and one far rather than have to crop an image! LIke they say "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!" I have seen some beauties iI would like to Be Holding" right now! But that's another subject!

Near

Your first image is so appealing to me!

(I am one of those who leave margins as I compose especially for cropping if I choose to do so while editing)

I would go even nearer and a little more off center...but I can start seeing pixels when I grow it. I like em close. And I definately like em in the wild like this.

Tough subject to approach, must have the eyes of the eagle
and an itchy trigger finger. Good work here but the near is
the way to go.

personally I love the original Near shot ... just enough information about the surroundings ... cropping closer just seems to leave out some information ... the Near is an excellent shot just as it is .

Really nice Photo's! The only thing I might try was to use the rule of thirds and shift the fox to the 2/3's line so that it was not centered with no additional cropping. I do this a lot and find that it adds interest to the photo.
I like your work. Please keep posting.

Nar and Far, awesome shots! The first one makes me feel closer to the fox. I love the snow on the fox and around the fox! Wow!
