You were solely missed yesterday. I am soooo pleased you are back. Thought I had been ejected for some reason. It's my paranoia kicking in

For about 4-hours, I knew it was the carrier. I was in the middle of a rely, so kept attempting to re-access website. I finally went to bed at about 2am PST.

Now I do not remember who was suppose to be the recipient of my wisdom & insight!

I was up.. I had been trying to read an book for a college English class by the light of the computer, but anytime my computer is on, I can hear you guys calling my name, soo.. I go to get on (again) and it didn't work! Chrome was loading everything else, so I thought maybe it was my browser, so I open up IE-nothing.. So I go to my Kindle fire thinking maybe it's my computer.. Nope! Thought I was gonna go crazy from withdrawal :-D Finally decided to just go to bed, needed to get some sleep anyway.. I am terribly hooked and will stay up till 2 or 3 in the morning, even when my baby has gone to sleep by 11 :/ Oh well, I can think of worse things to be hooked on :)

It looks like someone at our provider's data center messed up with redundancy and maintenance windows.

From their support forum:

Quote:
The event started at approximately 12:00am and our initial
investigation showed that both of our transport circuits that connect
our San Antonio Data Center to our Dallas POP were down and not able
to pass traffic.
...
We have identified that both of our transport carriers have a maintenance ongoing that is affecting our network connectivity between San Antonio and Dallas.
...
PEER 1/Serverbeach utilizes redundant providers and our transport circuits were originally provisioned on diverse routes to prevent incidents of this nature. We will be performing a full physical audit on our all of our circuits in light of this issue to determine why a commonality would exist between our two providers and how one maintenance could be affecting both paths.
The event started at approximately 12:00am and our... (show quote)

Hopefully, everything should be working fine now.

I'm cranky... The outage caused fungus growth on my 86mm circular polarizer. Then I woke up and it was a dream., but I did notice the outage, my sleeping patterns vary.
