Ok.....here we go.....why is it ok to kill a suspected terrorist (even if a US citizen) but water boarding is not? I'd really like the left to weigh in on this since it appears there is a real issue of hypocrisy in their position and lack of outcry!

Because killing a terrorist, even a US citizen isn't torture. Water boarding is.

No.... The DOJ and the DNC polled suspected terrorists and they overwhelming agreed that they would rather receive a hell fire missile up their booties than have some water poured up their noses...

Not sure I understand that logic Mac, but I personally would like to see them water boarded for information then set free in a field to be zapped by a drone, no hypocrisy here. 8-)

Why use a million dollar drone when a 50 cent bullet will do?

Actually...I believe the million dollar drone is delivering the bullet then coming back...but it's probably more than 50 cents for the bullet.....ammo has gone through the roof since they started talking about gun control again!

How about self preservation, self defense or protecting the citizenry? What’s the difference in going after self proclaimed enemies of the country (citizen or not) and going after a serial killer here at home. If either want to surrender and take advantage of their “rights” great but it’s their choice. If a serial killer, or in this case a terrorist (self proclaimed enemy) chooses not to surrender what would your course of action be?

I think you are miscommunicating with Zophman. I don't think he objects to the drone strikes...I believe he is just confused why the left accepts drone strikes on US citizens deemed enemy combatants without a trial.....but doesn't accept shoving water up someone's nose to save American lives.

There shouldn't be any confusion. Bush was president when those terrorists were water boarded, Obama is now president as the drone policy is continued and expanded. Simple. 8-)
