Emphasizing Size by off center placement?

Hi! I am supposed to emphasize size by off center placement for this photo due for school, do you guys think this is capturing what I am supposed to capture? There isn't anything to compare the subject to in but I feel the size is obvious and i am using the rule of thirds, do you think this is appropriate? I need to get this project sent in and it's been holding me back for weeks because I am stressing out way too hard about it, if you can give me any ideas I really appreciate any help you can give me! There is a choice of two. But if you think I need a whole other picture all together I suppose that is what i have to do.

I like the second one and if I had to choose that would be the one and I love the black and white.

Thank you for your input and I think you are right, the second one is the better photo, I love the black and white too! It just works better sometimes, don't you think? Thanks, again!

Hi! I am supposed to emphasize size by off center ... (show quote)

I have to say number two would be a good choice. However, the contrast is messing with the quality of the photograph. Can you fix it? Good luck!
