Nice work. I think a major part of HDR is knowing how far to go with processing and I think you stopped at the right point. Thanks for sharing

Thank you Marilyn. Ended up working the heck out of this particular pier this summer. Mostly long exp.,but some HDR. Will post more down the road.

Thanks Evansgr. In the beginning was like a kid in a candy store, but starting to tone things down a bit now.

I love everything about this picture (composition, leading line,subject, point of view). I must admit that I usually am not a big fan of some HDR photography. But I love this one.

Outstanding composition and atmosphere, and a really nice feeling to the whole pic. My only concern is the very bright area and the bright mini triangle peeping through on the left. The white area has a very slight pink tinge to it which happens in Photomatix when the whites are pushed too far. Its only a tad over but its such a lovely pic I think its worthwhile doing a slight rework to pull that white area back a little. I would also tweek the triangle down as it tends to grab the eye a little. But it really is a lovely image and I am looking forward to seeing more of this pier.
