Has Photoshop salvaged another bad photo?

Comments, please, about my editing of this photo. Did Photoshop save it? The photo was shot with a shutter speed that was much too slow. I was not prepared.

I used Photoshop to crop, then I sharpened the image way beyond the point where grain began to appear, then I saturated the colors.

Be harsh if you would like, but be honest. I can take it.

In the next version of PS Adobe is introducing a technology that will correct this problem. Its on the Adobe site. Looked at it about a month ago.

Russ

The answer is it will have blur until they release the new software. Hold on to it. Its coming.

Don't think really "salvaged" but I do believe you have done a good job of making something of it. I like it.

Interesting - the way you handled it, you ended up with a picture that resembles an Impressionist painting rather than a photograph. It has a feeling of a fantasy world.
What you did preserves a feeling of wonder at seeing this deer.

I think if you crop a little less, and leave more empty space in front for the deer to gambol into, the blurriness will be much less noticeable.

So they have decided to add it to the new PS? I know they was thinking about it, they wasn't sure if it was just going to be a plug-in or if they was going to add it as part of the program, I hope they do both, I don't want to spend another 279.00 on PS just for that reason... lol, I'd rather just toss the bad photograph.

As for the photograph taken here, I would say it could pass as an action painting (maybe) but as for being saved, I wouldn't have kept it myself.
