During 4-years in the U.S. Navy, I attempted many times to photograph the elusive "Green Flash" from ship deck at sea, and while in Iceland near the Arctic Circle. Never even saw a hint of it.

That's it. Have spent many vacations on the beach looking for these illusive phenomenon. Finally was able to witness one in Hawaii. Just interested if anyone has captured any in a photo.

It's not a very good picture, but at least you can see a spot of green on the horizon. It only lasted about two second, and it was a lot larger at its peak about 0.7 seconds before the picture was taken.

Didn't really believe in it till I saw it... but did not come back with a pic... it takes place in a very small instant of time.. I would imagine that it is very difficult to capture

Don't know about a flash but these rays lasted about 2 or 3 minutes while our boat was in Florida Bay.

I had a green flash yesterday but I think it was from the 'Pho Soup' I had on the local street corner earlier.
