Oddly lit gym...
50mm f/1.4; f/3.2; ISO 3200; 1/400
You did it again Ivy. Nice action shots. Would have liked to see the floor. Know she is in the air but seeing it adds to the action.

That would be a nice shot ...the nifty fifty limits me a bit especially since the baseline is about 2 feet from the wall. I think I have to try the 24-70mm lens that Dasloaf rented see if I can't get a little bit more flexibility

Hey, glad to hear you are shooting in a gym like I am. Probably the only difference between us is you move a lot faster so can get in that narrow space and still stay out of trouble ;) dasloaf on the otherhand is shooting in a palace- looks like he may have a few exttra feet to play with- as for speed, I'm thinking he may be even slower than me :) :)
I have a couple of awesome gyms to shot in and get treated with respect at them! I also shoot in CYO gyms from the 20-30's in the inner City of Detroit and downriver area of Detroit. The only thing that has been updated in those gyms is the prices of admission. Got permission to shot from the running track above the gym. You want an awesome place to take pictures from!
You do good work sir. Hope you understood my little shot in your direction was thrown in good humor. BTW, how is the tournament I remember you talking about last week going- it is this weekend- right?
No offense, March Madness is coming up in Michigan!

Thanks this lens has saved my butt many times in those gyms that seem to be lit by candles.....
