Best Auto Focus

What might be best for general pic taking, Multi or single point auto focus.

My personal experience is that I get the best pictures with single point focus. Considering that my usual subjects are the grandkids and their animals.

That would depend entirely on your selection of body, lens and subject. Way too many variables here.

Good advice, as most people fall asleep during lectures. I looked forward to group lectures in college because I could catch up on my sleep.
