Thanks for the suggestion. Was getting some lovely 20 by 30's from the corner drugstores Epson 7890, but the operators lack of knowledge about operating the machine got to be an issue, so just stopped printing for a while. Saw here that Costco might be a good option. Do they do metallic papers? Thanks.

awesome!! love it, I am not that talented yet. I just recently purchased an intervolometer so I will be out and about with it trying to get me some start trails! Love this photo and I agree that this one should definately be framed

Have you tried tethering? Some cameras also allow interval exposure photography. So what model did you get. Never done star trails-- but I'm intrigued. I may be doing a desert trip this summer with some overnight camping involved.

I am not that advanced in photography yet and I looked up software to tether my camera and it costs $400. I am serious about photography but don't have that kind of money to spend right now. My next goal is to buy an Olympus OMD EM5, then I will worry about that kind of software so I don't have to pay again LOL. Thanks for the info though, I will get there eventually.

Some tethering software is free-- but not sure about compatibility with Olympus. Most are Windows compatible so they don't work for me. If I had $400.00 to spend it would probably go toward a lens....

For sure! I am on the hunt for a Sigma 150mm Macro Lens that cost $800 too. I told my wife I would love to start selling some of my photos to support my hobby. Not sure if my photos are sellable though. Still working at getting good photos. I did find a software that only costs $15 specifically for Olympus but it is a stand alone program and doesn't look that promising.

Thanks j. Be sure to post your star trails. Have not had the chance to try that yet---too much light pollution here.
