Hi, I'm new here. I've been taking pictures for many years but never very seriously. I started with a 35mm Zeis Contaflex SLR in 1951 and worked up to a Minolta 35mm Maxim 9000. Then technology caught up with me so jumped into Digital with a little Fuji in 2000. Then Nikon D5700, then D70s, then D80 and now my very favorite D7000 which I love. Now all I have to do is learn how to use it! I really enjoy reading all the Q&A's here and maybe one day when I know what to ask I'll be on the asking end.
Hi Fezz, make yourself at home...and ask away. Lots of info on this site, as well as helpful, friendly people.

Hi Dave, Thanks for the welcome! I have really been impressed by the help that people get when they ask for help! Now even though I'm retired I have to figure out how to make the necessary time to study all the books I have and owners manuals, etc. so I can learn all about that D7000.

Good luck with that one ... now that you have discovered the forum .... there just aren't enough hours in the day.
