Abstract macro

Hi
These images are the petals of a lilly. They were taken with Sigma 105mm macro and then focus stacked. the aim was to create a 3D effect using Depth of field to create the illusion. These are in the infant stages as you can imagine I have a long way to go.

Your posted thumbnail images are too small to appreciate detail. If the resolution will hold, post again here, and check the box labeled "(store original)", so we may enlarge to appreciate detail.

have checked box but refuses to enable to download to check image, any ideas?

You have cropped your images to such an extent, that they cannot be enlarge greater than the thumbnails posted. There just is not enough pixel count to enlarge.

no thats not the case the image has very little cropping. The image is very near 1:1 I have no need to crop when I have a macro lens. I am an Amateur but not that much.

Try posting one of your originals ROOC (right-out-of-camera).

this is strange the end result I edited in photoshop and its the first time that I have done this. The images I sent you are edited in Picasa3 . Bizarre

The first image is not the correct one I think I have deleted the images, I always delete from camera when I put them on the computer. I will do them again tomorrow and post them again.Sorry about the mix up

Below is your Exif info on both images. File Sizes are VERY small. I would expect to see 2 Mp or larger.
