How do you figure out magnification?

Using a Canon 100mm 2.8 macro lens and I added a set of extension tubes to it for closer imaging. The Kenko tubes give you a further 68mm extension. I wondered what magnification I'd be getting if I set the lens to its minimum manual focus and used a focus rail to bring the subject in till it was sharp. I was hoping I'd find it was over 2 times, but am kinda doubting it now.

Thank you for the link, it was plain common sense and easy to figure out after the explanation.

Here is a link to a site that I have bookmarked on my computer that helps to calculate several types of macro magnifications.

With my 105 Nikkor @ 1:1 and 68 mm of extension, I've calculated mine to be 1.9:1, so almost 2:1.
