this is the only kind i have seen all winter(and very few of these)until today.this one is larger than most i have seen. 1/4" give or take

Good Job... That is a Twin Flagged Jumping spider: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anasaitis_canosa .
I used to find quite a few of those but did not see many this last year.

These are just beautiful! Man, do I need better equipment!...and more knowledge! I checked to see what f/stop, etc. you used and it came up with some pretty strange numbers! LOL! Is that because of extension tubes or something?? (Hope this isn't one of those silly questions!)

i'm not sure what you mean (strange numbers) they ase simular to what i usually shoot with extension tubes f16 on cloudy days or shade f18 to f22 when sunny.glad you like my shots.tom

I kinda thought that is what you would use. #2 & #3 don't show any meta data, but #1 shows Shutter speed 1065756978600, F/stop - 1606575697810 & Focal length 10506575697810. Must be some sort of computer glitch.
