ok well again I have a question and when I have a question I come here because everyone is so helpful. i have photographs that i have edited to my liking. My question is this. what is the best way to get them from my computer to a store to print? i know how dumb and simple this is but well i just dont know how. do i put them all in one folder and transfer to a cd or is there a way to revert them back to my card in camera as edited and have them printed? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Most places you can simply upload to their website and order that way. You don't even have to leave your home. :)

Do you have a USB memory stick? If not you can purchase a small one, a 2 gig-a-byte stick, for about $10. Load your edited photos onto to the memory stick. It is easier not to put them in a folder. Take that memory stick to a Wal-Mart and have them show you where in their Kisok to insert it, then just follow the on-screen insturctions to select the size and quantity of prints that you want.

If you are using a card reader, you can simply put them back on your card just like transferring to any drive and take them in like that.. or put them on a CD.

As mentioned, downloading your best to a good Internet Site is easiest..

Try Mpix, Bay Photo, Snapfish, etc.. there are others, but those are reasonably priced and do decent work..

mpix.com is the only one I use, if it's an image I'm going to hang on my wall.

If it's for a class project for the kids - walmart, walgreens or print from home.

I believe in New Hampshire there are Sams Clubs and Walgreens near any decent rock dwelling. And even if they are not near by Walgreens will mail them to you once printed. (you have to pay upfront for that though. Do they have credit cards/ debit cards in the rock you are from? Should be no problem.)

It is simple to just copy to a DVD and take in that way. The DVD has a lot more space on it than a CD and photos take up a fair amount of space if you have many to save.

If your going to use Wally World, just upload them via computer (assumes you have already post). Easier as pie. Quality is not bad either. Have never done one over 8X10. That way they are ready when you arrive.

If you go to a store, don't copy anything anywhere, just use your memory stick and select the picture, crop it and print, no fuss, no muss. Backup, just in case? raid1 2tb external drive that can be both USB and/or networked with other PCs.

Simplify your IT life and live dangerously, hanging with your left big toe from a cliff, the time to take that life defining moment... Just don't make a video clip where you hear HAAAAAAAAAAAAA SPLAT!!! That would end on youtube in no time! You would have your five seconds of fame thought

Do you have a Costco near you, if so they have state of the art machines and I also use them. Believe it or not they even print on canvas.
