Hello all,
I've been lurking and reading a few weeks now and finally decided to join the fun.
My wife and I are newbies so to speak. We have been avid snapshooters for years and recently decided to take our hobby to the next level.
Just received a couple Nikon D5100s, 35 1.8 Gs, 55-200VRs, and various accessories. We are pretty solid in our understanding of the fundamentals of photography and consider ourselves pretty good at composition (though others may disagree,lol).
We have purchased a couple of books and do alot of online tutorial reading. Still have alot to learn for sure but loving every minute of it.
Now if we can get these 5100s set up and learn what these cameras are capable of, we'll be all set.
We are not interested in ever becoming a professional but do aspire to achieve pro results, if you know what I mean.
I'm going to try and talk wifey into joining (if I can ever pry her away from Facebook long enough) I know she would enjoy this forum and learn alot.
