God Made A Farmer - Beautiful - Thanks Mr. Harvey
Hey Baltimore,
I liked it too!
Rewound and watched it twice.

It's on YouTube - I tried to find the words, found the YT instead - reminds me of this old Johnny Cash song - which reminded me of my Dad..................................
"These hands aren't the hands of a gentleman these hands are calloused and old
These hands raised a family these hands built a home
Now these hands raised to praise the Lord
These hands won the heart of my loved one and with hers they were never alone
If these hands filled their task then what more could you ask
For these fingers have worked to the bone
Now don't try to judge me by what you'd like me be
For my life hasn't been a success
Some people have power but still they grieve
While these hands brought me happiness
Now I'm tired and I'm old and I haven't much gold
Maybe things ain't been all that I planned
Lord above hear my plea when it's time to judge me
Take a look at these hard working hands take a look at these hard working hands"

It must be the Baltimore Connection.
Lived there several years, then Annapolis.
Most tasteful commercial aired ever.
One of the greatest commercials ever. There were 2 families from Montana, one from close by. They are a great family and perfect for the commercial. And is was so great to hear Paul Harveys voice!

Loc: very eastern pa.
most farmers are wonderful people.. the whole commercial is all so true. most people do not understand how smart farmers are as they must do nearly everything themselves. most people can do their jobs but a farmer must do all the jobs on the farm plus feed the country and not always make nearly enough to make a comfortable living. i know from experience.
