Hi Brenda,
Before I bought this camera, I had a few point and shoot camera that takes so-&-so pictures. My wife likes our daughter's photos taken with her Nikon D40. The DSLR camera pictures exhibit much crispy clear and richer colors that promotes us to venture into a DSLR camera. The Nikon D5100 is an entry level DSLR that fits us well for our travels and family activities; such as portrait, flowers and scenery stuffs, without much complications for using it. Lately I enjoy taking pictures for fun, but I also want to learn more of how to take good quality pictures. I hope joining the forum may give me some hints and helps...... any advices?
