Hi Linda. Yes it is a house window. It is from my spare bedroom window. I left the inside pane open so that frost would form on the outside pane. The different colours are from the garage roof and a Spruce tree outside the window.

Very nice, I like the patterns the frost makes. May I ask which lens was used for these? Was it a macro?

Thanks EoS. No not a macro. I used a Sony 16 - 105 on a Sony A55. I was about 2 feet from the window and zoomed in on the area then cropped out the patterns that I liked.
