How can I print an 11X14 on a Canon Pro Printer which doesn't have 11X14 as one of the size choices.
There must be a way around this problem. I have Picasa and Elements 10 and a few others.

Warrior - tried your method and it worked THANKS VERY MUCH. It took some experimenting and a few pieces of paper (I used 11X17) and cut off excess). I'll use 11X14 next time and see what happens. Somehow I felt it needed the extra but I was probably wrong. THANKS AGAIN. Jerry

The easiest way to do it is just size your image to 11x14 but print it on 14x17 paper. Sure, you waste a little paper but it is the easiest way. I use a paper cutter for straight cuts.

I've done that also but I think Warriors method is the way I'll go. Thanks

Does your printer take 13 X 17 inch paper? My Canon Pro 9000 does, but you do not specify the model. If it is the 9000, I have an approach that I have found satisfactory.
Where can you get good 11' x14' paper for a canon printer?
I am getting a canon pro 100.

Yes it is the Pro 9000
OK. The maximum size with the 9000 is 14 X 19 but the more standard size for photo-printing paper that you can easily find in a store is 13 X 19 inches. If you want to keep *exactly* your original dimensions, you will have to waste paper, so that the 11 inches is on the narrower side of your paper which is the simplest approach. What I do is re-size the image to a width of 12.5 while keeping the ratio. I assume that you want your image large, rather than exactly 11 X 14 and if that is the case, you have used the paper more efficiently and ended with a larger image. The approach would also apply, of course, if you have access to 14 x 19 paper.
