The Burlington Northern on the Brio.

Many, many years ago I had this set custom made for me. I gave it to my youngest daughter to play with when she was little. She loved the color green and she loved the real Burlington Northern. Fortunately I saved it from destruction.
I had a Union Pacific set made for my oldest daughter.

Of course I had a Sooline train made for me. But as they grew up, I did not know what to do with all of this stuff. We had a ton of it and I have been carrying it around ever since.

Then one day not that long ago, my oldest daughter had to run off and get married. Then a couple of years after that, she decides to have a baby.

Problem solved.

Funny, you can pass a train down to a girl, but what did I have to pass down, a doll collection and a doll house and the furniture. Thank goodness I had 2 granddaughters. My grandson would not have appreciated my items.

You could have made one of them gay. I was fortunate in that my daughter had a boy.

Probably. Oh, boy do we have track. Lots & lots of it! At both houses. Garage sales are our friend! That stuff is expensive!

When my oldest was little I got him a whole set of those and boy it wasn't cheap back then either. I think we ended up with about 30' of it with a few bridges and some tunnels. Have to dig that out for Harrison pretty soon.
