I always loved horses and being to poor to buy pretty ones, I
had to work out a solution. So here is the true story of how I
raised some beautiful horses. My best friend being mostly a mule
man had a registered stud named Cordell I owned two mares
Junebug and Penelope both black and white paints, not registered
but from a good neighborhood. My friend wanted a White Stocking
legged Paint Mule and the bet was if I raised him one I could have
free service from Cordell. Bow and Brandy were born one week
apart. Then Gracey whom belonged to my godson had Sandy. As
time went by Bow became the father of Bojangles. Enough said
here are the pictures.mdh

awe Those are outstanding..
Thank you for posting them all..
Thanks, I miss getting to ride them. My wife and I rode for many
years until she had neck surgery and had metal plates put in here
neck. She being a beautiful but stubborn redhead, I sold or gave
away every horse and all the saddles and equipment. Some of
them are still in the neighborhood and still raising colts or are on
a good farm where we can go by and see them. I didn't have
good cameras but I still took a lot of pictures of the rides we
had. Our horses were gentle and I Quail hunted off of few for
twenty or more years and always kept two to loan to friends
when we went hunting. I'll look up some of the old pictures and
scan them and post a few.mdh

Thanks Tim. That means a lot with you being from real horse
country and get to see all kinds of horses. I look forward to
retirement and plan to visit your neck of the woods to see
the beautiful scenery there and hope to take some pictures of
your Montana horses. mdh
