Just want to express my thanks to you all who so willing share your knowledge, experience, pictures, know-how, and are so patient in doing it for us beginners... actually some are more experienced, but still needing input from the pros.
You can't imagine how I've enjoyed this forum over the last year, and even at my age have have learned bits and pieces from you all. It was because of your influence I purchased my Nikon D7000 and a few lens. Living in this area my entire life, and having little opportunity to travel; sharing your many photos has been a window to many parts of the US, as well as the whole world.
Thank you SO much. Keep clicking away and posting them.

I was just getting ready to make a similar post. I am learning so much from all of you that it is increasing my enjoyment of photography beyond the level of my initial interest. I really find this site to be the most valuable learning tool in my photographic bag. So, I ditto Judy's comments. Thank you all.

Judy, I have been a member of many different groups outside of photography, but I have never known any groups or hobbiests or professionals so ready to help others as photographers. Even the most professional professionals are willing to assist and advise we amateurs. The Internet and sites like this are wonderful.

Wonderful topic! I also can't even begin to express how much I've learned and the friends I have had the pleasure to meet and learn from. Wonderful place and great experiences.
