Playing with Textures

I have been trying to learn what to do with textures, how, when to apply them this is my first attempt.
How does it look? C&C welcome

Much more subtle than what one of my friends does with textures. I like it, nice work. :thumbup:
P.S. You might try adding a little vignette and see how it looks.

The nice soft image with the light and graduated background are very pleasing to look at. The interplay of the pastels are like the eyes having comfort food.

Don't think the addition of a vignette would improve the image. The flower is off center and vignetting would push it closer to an edge. This image does well with a lot of "empty" space. Besides, there is enough in the blue flower to make it stand out.

Simple and simply lovely.
