Sigma 120-300mm with 2X tc #2

I haven't gotten a good sunny day yet for taking photos. I am shooting out the back door and trying to see how this lens is doing, testing it. All these photos have been taken using the Sigma 2X tc, on an overcast day. I am posting three different sets.

C&C please, your opinions are important to me. All are posted with full exif file.

Try shooting the images without the converter. Move in a bit closer, I think the converter is sacrificing the image quality. You should be getting a much sharper image with that lens. Or try a 1.5 instead if you have access to one.

I do havee the Sigma 1.4X but have not tried it yet.. I will though. I bough both to see how they would work.

Here are a couple taken with the Sigma 2X this morning. We finially got some sun! The only PP done to these photos is what Elements does in raw and they have been cropped a little. They were shot at about 34 feet.

The seed feeders are about 34 feet as stated above. The sout feeder is about 37 to 38 feet away.
