Last Picture of the Day

Had the day off work yesterday and ended running around the La Crosse, WI area snapping photos. It was a pretty grey, dreary day, but I made the best I could out of it. This was my last picture of the day. I was walking back to the car, and just happened to turn around and see this scene. Seems like it's a theme with me - I always find what I feel are my best shots AFTER I think I'm done.

Thank you. Yes, I have more but I have not spent much time processing them yet. I plan to work on them some tomorrow evening.

As I was scrolling down, the top third of this made a very different composition - could I encourage you to make several copies of parts of this? You have more than one good image here!

The top third in landscape, then just the flagpole in portrait, maybe both with just the flag in color? Those branches framing the top are striking - in a crop maybe more so.
