1. Florida damselfly (Argia sedula)

2. The zebra longwing butterfly (Heliconius charitonius) was designated the official state butterfly of Florida in 1996.

Those older Pentax with the CCD sensors had a different look to the colors they just did a great job.

I agree. I played with a K7 for a couple of weeks, and just wasn't convinced that I needed it. I'm not befuddled by MP counts, and since I've never been an equipment hound either, I never got around to upgrading. I wouldn't say the color rendition was inferior, but I just didn't care for it as much.

I have to admit the K7/5 have some interesting features, but given the kind of work I do, I wouldn't benefit much. I don't use screens except to check exposures, so the live viewing isn't a big draw. I suppose I'll have to replace mine someday...

I have the K-m and K-x and my K-5 the K-m has the 10.2 mp CCD and it does a wonderful job on flowers as long as you do not need good low light performance the CCD is hard to beat when it comes to IQ.
