The P51 was in a separate area and restricted. It was constantly being fueled for flights you could take on it. Only $2000.00 for 1/2 hour or $3200.00 for an hours flight.
He wouldn't let me take my tripod so I declined a flight.

Hey Sarge. I went to one of our local airfields when they had a B-17 and a P-40 and you could take rides in them. The B-17 wasn't flying for some reason but he P-40 was. I kick myself in the butt for not taking a ride in it, but the $970 per ride was out of my range at the time. Heck, still is. But as you can see by my Avatar, I love the P-40. If I ever get the chance again, I'll hock everything I have to do it. Thanks for sharing the photos with us. Cheers.
