Here's the thing; this was not intended to be a portrait shot. This is simply a quick anecdotal snapshot of my grandson.

just as I wouldn't purposely put a pregnant woman in the background

I agree with you, but does anyone realize my original intent was not to make a portrait shot. I just "snap shot" him. This was at a graduation party for my daughter and my youngest son.
