Mustang Space

I tried to capture the wide open spaces, home to the mustang. I tried to bring out the mustang more clearly, but it just seems to mess up the rest of the photo. Any ideas or recommendations?

if you have PS you could select the horse and dodge it slightly, then invert the selection and slightly blur the background.
I would turn it into more of a panorama by cropping some of the sky. It might have helped if the horse want dead centre.
Is the horizon leaning to the right?
Nice view nice horse

A lot of possibilities here, well done.

[quote=WaltG]It is a very interesting composition. Of cource the horse being shot from the side would be a better fill. And closer would be nice. It made me look at it for longer than most and that makes it a winner. David

... as I was saying, I'm not sure what is meant by "dodge it slightly." I like the idea of cropping some of the sky. Thank you for your comments.

Dodging and burning are terms from the days of film printing, in Photoshop there is a tool for both burning darkens , dodging lightens so I was just suggesting subtle slightly lightening the horse might make is stand out from the background a little more.
Whatever it makes me wish I was back in the wide open spaces of the USA

I think "dodging" is a little beyond my paygrade (LOL). Thank you again for your comments and suggestions. I'll keep them in mind as I take more photos around this beautiful, amazing area of southern Nevada.
