Hi Everyone!
I recently joined UH and thought I would show a few photos Ive taken. I had just gotten a new macro lens, here are a few photos that I took with it. I did not realize how shallow the depth of field would be or how much light it would take! What a great new learning experience.
These were all taken with a Canon Rebel Xt, 18-55 lens with macro filter.
The only PP I do is slight lighting adjustments and occasionally cropping.
Dandelion flower about to release its seeds.
It seemed to be as curious about me as I was about it.
The pretty "fuzzy" caterpillar wasn't so fuzzy!

It would appear that you are doing everything right. I like what you have shown.

Welcome to the Forum and congrats on a successful experimental session with the new lens.
(That caterpillar is SCARY-looking, honestly! *smiles* )
I love the dandelion! Print it!
