My buddy Jack was upgrading to a new lens and made me a super deal on his old 55-200 for my Nikon D3100. We finally had a sunny day here and I slipped out to the local wetlands area to give it a tryout. This was my first experience with anything besides the kit lens (18-55) and although I'm not even smart enough to know if these are technically good ... I loved them, especially the iguana. Guess that's the only important criteria anyway.

I like your pictures. Isn't the point for most of us to have fun? Then it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. You can get loads of help here if you ask for it but don't ever let anyone take the joy out of your pictures!
