The big cats fascinate me. The two jaguars are female and on of them was in heat, I have never seen anything like it that day at the zoo. I took probably 60 shots of them.

wow great capture. and to think they are related to my little kitty cat rascal who thinks he is one of these big guys and I am a gazelle
Man that Tiger sure had some tongue action. I love your shots, they are so clean and crisp. What camera do you use? Was it a telephoto lens?
Thank you again. I use an Olympus Evolt E420 and a Olympus Pen E PL1, 10.2 and 12.3 megapixels. Just about all my shots are taken with the old manual focus lens using an adapter. Most are off brand names. And yes, it was a Vivitar 75-205mm and it was taken through the bars, somehow I managed to focus the bars out of the picture. Some of the tigers I will post were taken through the zoo glass, I like trying to capture them so it looks like they are in a natural setting instead of a zoo.
Thank you. I appreciate the comment!!!!!

Thanks. Unfortunately, these shots were taken of the two cats, a year and a half apart, just weeks or months before they passed away.

So sorry for your loss. I have two dogs at the moment but do miss my cats.

Thank you... They are beautiful. Uma is 2.5 years old, and is turning gray. The vet says it is normal. I believe him, but I am rather obsessed with it. It seems as if every day...
Don't tell her that I showed you this personal picture, please!

Shoot, she is lucky!!! I have more gray than that in my beard!!!! Both of mine are closer to 7 and 8, not really sure being shelter mutts, but they are two of the best dogs I have ever had.
