I took this shot through a plate glass window at my local Zoo, i used a Sigma 180mm Macro lens and at first i thought my focus was out of range and would be out of focus, i think it turned out ok though, what do you think.
That's me kneeling down to take the shot.

Manual Exposure f/3.5 1/400 ISO 1600

Unsual and inspiring Tommy. I don't think you experianced guys realise how nice it is to see something different, yet helpful, for us new to photography to consider trying these differnt shots.
Many thanks for posting!!

Thank you Robby, and thank you for your kind word's, whenever i go out with my camera i am always looking for something different, imagine, your sitting in, or near a bush and you want to get a shot of a robin on a branch nearby, you take the shot and get up and move on, i don't do that, i will look around me and observe my surrounding's, there may be a dragonfly, or some fungi with an insect on it, there is allways something there to be photographed, with regard to this shot, i wasn't happy with the full body shot's of the Meerkat's so i put my 180mm lens on and waited till one came near enough for a close up, i didn't know what i was going to get but i was ready for anything, the same thing happened on an earlier post i did called "photographer through the eye of a raptor" ( have a look) where the bird was in captivity and i didn't want to show this, so i got close for the eye shot, sorry for rambling on but if i can help in any way at all just ask. :) :)
