I'm lucky that my employers knows how boring and at times mind sucking my job can be and I am allowed to surf the web to take a break from reading corporate safety insurance policies. It seems like I'm hera a lot, cause I have the site open the whole time I am at work... but my day is like this.. read report, make recommendations based on report, review report to make sure I didn't miss anything, take break look at UHH to recharge, pull new report and follow the same steps.
If I didn't take a break, I'd jump out the window after the 4th report in a row.

Ahhh I am having the same problem today. I think I will have to force myself and go do something contstructive like cleaning. Oh heck that is no fun I will go out and take pictures of my last roses before they are gone till spring...Iowa winters don not like roses.

I basically have nothing else to do. Live chat is a bore and folks start to throw personal feeling in what you say (I mean amorous), facebook is about cleaning some kid's butt
IT tech BBS are a bit dry, rarely humorus, often hostile over nothing pc vs mac vs whatever bleh
BBS in photography are not quite as free as this one (compliment here)
In the mean time my PCs check and recheck logs and connection so I just sit there watching netflix, for a time, joining something new for another time then rush when one of the PC throws a fit because some idiot tried to access the wrong document more than five time...
Life in the IT sec field as a at home consultant... boring.,,,
Photography in all that? mainly when it is not hot enough to fry an egge on the hood of my car or when mosquitoes are not dive bombing on the french restaurant I represent...
My dog is too old to play (15 1/2) my wife is bored with computers and learn photo (but w/o me ands is making serious progress) no kids to yell out or tie to a chair until they eat their spinach so....
Anything for a change until I find something new...
I am a perpetual news hound so I catch weird stuff that surprise people (and drives them up the wall when I say oh, yeah that was in gulf news two weeks ago, or it's not news, that was published last year, they just republished it)
Beside that, when abroad, I am (according to ONE person) capable of creating a diplomatic situation (not incident but weird), make friends of guys who would have loved to beat the crap out of me (Christian vs islam; french/us vs very angry Palestinian).
It's just here (florida) than I am bored, really. It is fun to be in Japon with someone willing to shows you the inside of a family tumb or eating in the desert in the winter with a bunch of folks you have never met before in your life (and do not speak anything in common)
