I am posting these for C&C. Shot using a Sigma 120-300mm f2.8 lens at 300mm f4.0. It is a cloudy, snowy overcast day.

I really would like your true opinions.

nice photos of a beautiful bird. I noticed on download they are a bit pixelated from cropping. The colors are great and maybe just a tad grainy. Overall they are good photos Enjoyed looking at them

Thank you. Yes, I didn't remove any noise from them and I should have. Here they are after taking some of the noise out.

These are delightful birds. We seem to have become somwhat of a destination for birds after years of feeding and nuthatches are a good share of the crowd.

I really like your shots although it seems that more of a profile gives a better idea of these little upside-downers. Of course, they do not always cooperate ;-)

I do see him/her that way sometimes but it does not hold still very long! At least when it is upside down it is still for a couple of seconds.

I am not sure but think I only have the one right now. Got to do some home work on them. It is a pretty bird, that I do know.

Your welcome. I do like shooting these little things but can't slow them down. Hum, maybe if I spread some super glue on the boards?

Thank you, appreciate the compliment. I am not sure which I like better. I always prefer shots where the bird is staring at me but because of the angle it is tough to get that shot with this one.
